Zucchini, that green thing, you know? My neighbor, old lady Wang, she gave me a whole bunch. Said her garden’s goin’ crazy. I got so much, I don’t know what to do with it all! I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout zucchini recipes, so I thought I’d try some.

That zucchini bread, that’s what everyone’s yappin’ about. You take that zucchini, and you shred it up. Just like you are shredding cabbage. And you put it in the bread. Sounds weird, but they say it’s good. I guess I’ll try it. Ain’t got nothin’ to lose, ‘cept maybe a few zucchinis. Hope I have enough flour.

And I saw the biggest zucchini ever at the farmer’s market last week! It was bigger than a baby! I reckon it was a record largest zucchini. I wonder how that got so big. Wonder what they are gonna do with it. Maybe they’ll make a whole lotta bread. Or maybe they’ll just feed it to the pigs. They like zucchini too.

I remember one time, my grandma, she used to make somethin’ with zucchini and eggs. Just fried ’em up in the pan. Simple, but good. That’s a good zucchini recipe, if you ask me. Just don’t need anythin’ fancy.

Now, I heard you don’t need to peel them green things before you shred ’em up for that bread. Just leave the skin on. Makes it easier, they say. And keeps all the good stuff in there, the vitamins and all that. Good to know, ’cause I ain’t got time for peelin’.

Someone told me you should use the small ones for the bread. They said the little ones are sweeter. The big ones, like that record largest zucchini, are too dry, and can be a little bitter. Guess you gotta use them for somethin’ else. Maybe stuff ’em with meat. Or something. I don’t know.

  • First, you gotta wash them zucchinis.
  • Then, you gotta cut the ends off.
  • Then you can shred it.

Zucchini, zucchini, zucchini. It’s everywhere! In my kitchen, in my garden, in my dreams! I’m gonna be seein’ green for a while, I reckon. But hey, at least it’s healthy, right? Better than eatin’ candy all day.

My son, he don’t like vegetables. But I bet I can sneak some zucchini in his food. Maybe I’ll make that zucchini bread and not tell him what’s in it. He’ll never know. That’s a good way to do that. I will try that when he comes home next time.

I saw some folks makin’ noodles outta zucchini. They call ’em “zoodles.” Sounds funny. They use some kinda fancy tool to make ’em. I ain’t got one of those. Maybe I can just cut ’em real thin with a knife. Wonder how that would be.

You can do all sorts of things with zucchini, it seems. Fry it, bake it, put it in bread, make noodles. Who knew that green thing was so useful? You can even grill it I heard. I ain’t never grilled no zucchini, but I might try it sometime.

I remember my mama used to make a zucchini casserole. She’d put zucchini, and tomatoes, and cheese, and bread crumbs, all in a dish and bake it. That was good eatin’. That’s another good zucchini recipe. Maybe I’ll make that tomorrow. Reminds me of being a kid.

That record largest zucchini… I still can’t get over that. It was really somethin’. I wonder if they weighed it. Must have been heavy. I bet it took a few people to carry it. I would have liked to see that.

I’m gonna try to find some more zucchini recipes online. There’s all sorts of things on that internet. Maybe I’ll find somethin’ new to do with all these zucchinis. Maybe I can make zucchini cookies. That sounds interestin’.

I’m gonna go now and start shreddin’ some zucchini. Gonna make that bread and see what all the fuss is about. Wish me luck! I hope it turns out okay. And I hope I don’t get sick of zucchini before I use ’em all up.

Well, I made that zucchini bread. It weren’t too bad. My son, he even ate a piece and didn’t complain. So that’s somethin’. I might make it again sometime. But I still got a whole lot of zucchini left.

Maybe I’ll just give some away. Share the wealth, you know? I’m sure someone else could use ’em. I know old lady Wang ain’t gonna want ’em back. She’s probably got more than she knows what to do with, too. We are all drowning in zucchini.
