Alright, alright, let’s talk about them Portuguese sopas. You know, soups? Yeah, them warm things you eat when it’s cold, or, heck, whenever you feel like it. I ain’t no fancy chef, but I know what’s good eatin’, and these Portuguese folks, they sure know how to make a good pot of soup.

Now, I hear tell there’s all sorts of sopas, more than 30 kinds, they say. That’s a whole lotta soup! Imagine that, 30 different ways to boil up some veggies and meat. Makes your head spin, don’t it? But from what I gather, some are more famous than others. Like this Caldo Verde. Sounds fancy, right? But it ain’t nothin’ more than green soup. Yep, green! They put kale in it, I think, and potatoes and maybe some sausage. Sounds kinda healthy, huh?
