You know, that ginger and carrots, they are good stuff. I always say, eat your ginger carrots, good for your eyes, good for your tummy. My old man, he used to grow them in our little garden. Big, fat carrots, he grew. Sweet like candy, they were.

I remember another time, they were talking about some kind of “egg roll” thing on that tee-vee. Looked like a lot of work, rolling things up. Too much trouble for me. I just chop up my ginger and carrots, throw them in a pot. Easy and good. That’s my way.

And they had another thing, they called it “low mean”. Sounded like someone being mean to me! But it was just some noodles and meat. I can make that too. Just noodles, some meat, and my good old ginger carrots. That’s all you need.

That “low mean”, they said you can make it without the meat, too. For them people who don’t eat meat. I don’t understand that, but okay. Just ginger and carrots and noodles, I guess. Still good, I bet. Ginger and carrots make everything good.
