Today I’m gonna make a chocolate brownie, but not just any brownie. This one’s got a secret ingredient – condensed milk! I saw this recipe floating around and figured, why not give it a shot? It’s supposed to make them extra fudgy, and who doesn’t love a fudgy brownie?
First things first, I preheated the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. While that’s warming up, I grabbed an 8×8 inch pan and lined it with parchment paper. I made sure to leave some overhang on the sides, you know, to make it easier to lift the brownies out later.
Next, I melted some butter in a bowl. Once it was all liquidy, I dumped in some sugar and gave it a good whisk. Then came the eggs, one at a time. I cracked each one in and mixed until it was all combined. After that, I poured in the star of the show – the condensed milk! I stirred that in until the batter looked nice and smooth.
In a separate bowl, I whisked together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt. Then, I gradually added the dry stuff to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. You don’t want to overmix, or the brownies will be tough.
Finally, I poured the batter into the prepared pan and spread it out evenly. Into the oven it went! I baked it for about 30 minutes. The hardest part is waiting for them to cool down, so I have time to share this process with you guys.!
Okay, the brownies are finally cool enough to cut. I carefully lifted them out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. And there you have it, delicious, fudgy chocolate brownies with condensed milk! They turned out even better than I expected. Seriously, you gotta try this recipe.
