This here food, you call it chocolate mein noodles, well, it ain’t like nothing I ever seen before. But my grandkids, they all excited about it. Say it’s some kinda sweet treat, noodles with chocolate. Sounds funny to me, but young folks like all sorts of newfangled things.
So, I seen ’em makin’ it. They get them chow mein noodles, the crispy kind. You know, the ones you put in that soup? Yeah, them ones. They all crunchy and kinda salty, I guess. And then they got this chocolate, melt it all down. Looks like that mud down by the creek after a good rain, all thick and dark.
- First, they get them noodles.
- Then they melt that chocolate.
They say this chocolate mein noodles thing is easy to make. Well, I reckon it is, ’cause even them young’uns can do it. They just pour that melted chocolate all over them noodles. Mix it all up good and proper. Then they gotta let it sit, I guess so the chocolate can get hard again. Like when you leave a chocolate bar out in the sun and it melts, then you put it in the icebox and it gets hard again. Same idea, I suppose.
Now, I tried a little bit of this chocolate mein noodles. It’s…different. Crunchy and sweet all at the same time. It ain’t bad, I gotta say. Not somethin’ I’d eat a whole heap of, but it ain’t bad. The kids, they love it though. They gobble it all up like a bunch of hungry piglets.
They even made some with white chocolate, them kids. They call it “white chocolate haystacks” or somethin’ like that. Looks kinda like a bird’s nest made outta noodles, I reckon. Same idea, just with that white chocolate instead of the dark kind. That white chocolate, it’s sweeter, I think. Not my favorite, but the kids sure do like it.
So, this chocolate mein noodles, it’s a sweet treat, that’s for sure. Easy to make, too. Just noodles and chocolate. You can’t get much simpler than that. If you got a sweet tooth, you might like it. Me, I’m more of a pie person myself. But I can see why the young folks like it. It’s different, that’s for sure.
I reckon you could make a big batch of this stuff. Maybe for a party or somethin’. Them kids are always havin’ parties. Birthdays and graduations and what have you. This chocolate mein noodles would probably be a big hit with them. It’s easy to share, I guess. Just break off a piece and hand it out. No need for plates or forks or nothin’.
- It is easy to make, you see.
- Chocolate and these noodles, that’s it.
- Kids sure love this sweet stuff.
I still don’t rightly understand why you’d put chocolate on noodles, but hey, I’m old. I don’t understand half the things these young folks do nowadays. They got their music and their phones and their chocolate mein noodles. It’s a different world, that’s for sure.
But if you’re lookin’ for somethin’ different, somethin’ sweet and crunchy, then maybe you should give this chocolate mein noodles a try. It’s easy enough, even an old gal like me could probably make it. Just don’t expect me to eat a whole bowl of it. A little piece is all I need.
This recipe for chocolate mein noodles, they say it’s a good one. I don’t know about “good,” but it’s definitely somethin’ different. And the kids, they seem to think it’s the best thing since sliced bread. So, there you go. Maybe you’ll like it, too. Just don’t go puttin’ it on your dinner plate. It’s a treat, not a meal.
Now, these white chocolate haystacks, they’re pretty much the same. Just with that white chocolate. If you like white chocolate, then you might like them better. Me, I prefer the regular chocolate, but that’s just me. You do you, as they say.
So, that’s about all I know about this chocolate mein noodles business. It’s a sweet treat, easy to make, and the kids love it. If you’re feelin’ adventurous, give it a try. You might just surprise yourself. And if you don’t like it, well, there’s always pie.
