Then you take that dip you made and pour it into the bread. The bread is like a little boat now, and the dip is the water. I guess you could call it a bread boat. I ain’t never seen a boat made of bread before, but there’s a first time for everything, I reckon. So this is a good rye bread dip, remember this, I am not lying.
Now, some folks like to get fancy with their rye bread dip. They might use different kinds of meat, like that smoked salmon. I ain’t never had salmon before, but I hear it’s good. Or they might use different kinds of cheese. I like cheese, especially the kind that comes in a block. You can cut it up and eat it with crackers. That’s good eatin’.

I’ve eaten worse things in my life, I tell ya. When I was a little girl, we didn’t have much. Sometimes we’d eat dirt. Just plain old dirt. It didn’t taste like much, but it filled your belly. Use this dip to eat with smoked meat or fish is very delicious.
